Can Yoga Offer Relief from TMJ Pain?

Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) plagues countless people across the United States, with many suffering from a host of symptoms, including chewing difficulties, jaw pain, migraine headaches and ringing in the ears.

While many sufferers are forced to consume handfuls of over-the-counter pain medications; others fall back on alternative remedies that offer safe – if temporary – relief. Sadly, once these treatments end, TMJ symptoms usually return within a short amount of time.
