Canadian crooner Michael Buble is touring in the United States, but he almost had to call off a concert because of a dental emergency. But contacting a local dentist got him fixed up before the show.
Improperly Using His Teeth
Buble might not have had an emergency if he hadn’t been improperly using his teeth. The singer was trying to open a ketchup packet with his teeth when he dislodged his dental crown. Using your teeth as tools subjects them to excessive force, which increases the risk that you will damage either your teeth or your restorations.
With less than 24 hours before his concert, he contacted a local dentist. The dentist was able to replace the crown, and the singer was able to hold his show. As thanks for the care, Buble gave the dentist and his wife front-row seats, and gave them a shout-out at the end of the concert.
CEREC Allows for Great Emergency Care
At B & D Dental Excellence, we offer great emergency care for all people, whether you’re a celebrity or not. We also have the tools to give you fast and comprehensive care, including the CEREC system.
The CEREC system allows us to create restorations while you wait, so if you have damaged or destroyed your dental crown, dental inlay, or dental onlay, we can replace it today, not have to wait for an impression to be sent to the lab and manufactured there. This allows us to create replacements for old restorations and to manufacture attractive, durable restorations for new injuries such as a chipped or cracked tooth.
And if your dental crown was made with the CEREC system originally, we can make replacements even more quickly. The machine stores the data from your restoration so it can quickly manufacturer a replacement should your restoration be damaged or lost.
