Veneers are a preferred treatment because they can close spaces,
increase length, create spectacular long-term whiteness, and straighten
teeth. They can cover deeply embedded stains caused by the childrens
medicine of years ago tetracycline. Sometimes these are
mistakenly called caps. However, these are much more
resilient.
Veneers function like real teeth and are strongly bonded to natural
tooth structure. In as short as two visits you can have a confident
and beautiful smile. They can allow patients to bypass orthodontic
treatment. With an orthodontist and two cosmetic dentists on staff,
we are able to identify appropriate candidates for this treatment.

Composite 'fillings' are a natural looking, healthy alternative
to metal fillings, which can fill an otherwise bright smile with
dark shadows. Conventional metal amalgam material can hide decay
and weaken the natural tooth.
Modern 'white' fillings are bonded to the tooth using layer by
layer of a porcelain composite substance, avoiding the need to
remove large portions of healthy tooth which saves more of your
natural tooth for many years to come. Metal fillings are inserted
(plugged in) usually after removing larger parts of the healthy
tooth. Over time, a crown may be needed because the tooth is weaker
and subsequently cracks.

Modern crown and bridge dentistry using all-porcelain material
is very appealing to those with worn and missing teeth. First,
these new crowns and bridges provide a perfectly natural look.
They mimic natural teeth because of their maximum light translucency
and color. Second, they are almost indistinguishable in strength
and durability from natural teeth.
Finally, porcelain bridges can be used to permanently replace
missing teeth. By bonding a natural-looking bridge securely to
adjacent teeth using porcelain crowns, we can transform your smile.

Teeth that were cracked or eroded to the extent where composite
fillings would not work successfully used to mean you would need
a crown. Back teeth that have been worn down need to be built
up with a strong material. Back teeth support your bite. Without
strong and even support, your front teeth would break off. Composite
resins don't provide enough durability. Now, with porcelain inlays
and onlays, we can avoid going to the crown as often. We can save
more of the natural tooth. Preparing a tooth for an inlay or onlay
usually requires less natural tooth removal. They are custom formed
around and into the damaged areas of the tooth and strongly bonded
in a seamless fashion. A crown covers the top of the natural tooth
and requires a uniform surface. An inlay or onlay can be created
in more unique formations.
Before we had only two options to restore a worn down tooth
a 'silver' filling or a metal-based crown. Now, we have numerous
exciting options including that can enhance health and beauty
and create natural-like durability.

Because dentist-monitored, at-home whitening methods use trays
created from models of your teeth you get a customized, effective
solution. Off-the-shelf whitening trays don't give you this kind
of snug fit so they might not give you the results you desire.
Our at-home methods can whiten your smile significantly, giving
you a beaming, confident smile.
Whether you wear your trays at night or during the day they fit
so well you might forget you even have them in. Only the tooth
color is made lighter. The enamel is not changed. Depending on
the level of whiteness you desire we may recommend up to two weeks
of at-home treatment for two to four hours a day.
Of course, avoiding substances like coffee, red wine, tea and
tobacco will keep your teeth white longer. Some off-the-shelf
home bleaching methods can damage your gums and bleach unevenly.

Bonding achieves a strong and an exciting fusion of advanced
porcelain material to the natural tooth. It is almost indistinguishable
from natural enamel. Spaces in your smile can be closed and your
teeth lengthened or made fuller with this contouring material.
We can also refashion chipped teeth. In one visit you can have
a wonderful new smile. Usually minimal tooth reduction is necessary
to create the right surface for bonding. Bonding is more susceptible
to staining and isnt as long-term as veneers, but it provides
an affordable and flexible, smile enhancing solution for many.

In the not so distant past constant denture relining and shifting,
dietary restrictions and jaw shrinkage was what many people with
missing teeth had to look forward to. For our patients who want
to avoid these problems, we believe implants are the best dentistry
has to offer. Dental implants can restore complete functionality
and natural beauty.
Implants are secured with an amazingly strong and titanium post
that can last 25 years or more. They don't interfere with speech,
eating or comfort. Recent advancements make implants easier and
more affordable than ever. The natural, esthetic look of the restorations
is another benefit.
Because dentures are not permanently attached to your jaw, the
bone can weaken and the jaw can recede. Implants keep your jaw
strong and youthful looking. They are especially helpful to those
who are severely disabled by missing teeth. Many people with one
or two missing teeth also appreciate the benefits of this treatment.

Gum tissue can make your teeth look short. It can cover more
of your smile than is necessary to protect it. Gum tissue contouring
can transform your gummy smile. We use an exciting laser technology
that is more comfortable and pleasant than previous methods.
Contouring can also fill gaps in your gum line, which cause your
teeth to look too long. It is also performed during other more
complex cases where dental implants and bridges are used, or when
damage has occurred to the mouth because of an accident.
