Dr. Dunayer has been giving his patients the extraordinary benefits
of cosmetic dentistry since 1995. Besides the experience he has
in creating beautiful smiles for his patients, he has hundreds
of hours of training with some of the best doctors in cosmetic
dentistry. This includes advanced training in laser gum tissue
contouring, smile designing and tooth replacement.
One of the most intense courses was a hands-on program
instructed by Dr. Larry Rosenthal, an internationally renowned
cosmetic dentist.
According to Dr. Dunayer, It gave me the ability to
see the patients completed and beautiful smile
before I started.
Were also proud to be an amalgam free
practice-no silver fillings. Dr. Bill Dickerson of
the internationally acclaimed Las Vegas Institute of Advanced
Dental Studies introduced Dr. Dunayer to the health and esthetic
values of using composite (white) restorations instead of metal.
The course work with Dr. Dickerson has benefited many of Dr.
Dunayers patients.
Dr. Dunayer says, We now have something in between a
crown and a filling for restoring back teeth. Porcelain inlays
and onlays offer natural beauty, reduce the need for tooth reduction,
and provide superior strength. Patients have so many great options
today!
He has many hours of continuing education courses at
NYU in anterior (front teeth) esthetics.
Additionally, he has studied with Dr. Jeffrey Golub,
a national expert in direct bonding. Direct bonding is a freehand,
artistic method of shaping teeth to refashion them after chipping
or to widen or lengthen teeth for cosmetic enhancement.
He has completed a comprehensive course in soft-tissue
laser therapy. He uses a diode laser to sculpt and reshape gummy
smiles. It is a modern method that is less stressful for patients.
As a general member of the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry, a prestigious international organization, he keeps
up to date with the art and science of modern dentistry.
Finally, he participated in a one year residency in
1986 at a dental practice run by University of Pennsylvania
treating the faculty and staff. As chief resident, his emphasis
was cosmetic dentistry and tooth reconstruction.
